Adelaide may not be at the top of every tourist's Australia plan but my recommendation, if you're visiting Australia in Feb/March when the festivals are on, this is the perfect time to get over to Adelaide and enjoy everything this great place has to offer!

As one of the smaller cities, you won't need too long in Adelaide but you do need long enough to enjoy the beautiful beaches, the great food, the awesome festivals if you're there at the right time of year and more than anything, the amazing surrounding wine regions.

Don't miss the Adelaide Hills and Barossa regions if in Adelaide - these areas are simply gorgeous and feature some of Australia's best wine makers.
